Where we work

Different operations.
A need for better evidence.

The right method starts with the decision. Explore the questions we help teams investigate across industrial sites.

Mining & exploration

From the first investigation to the working mine.

Exploration and production ask different questions of the same landscape. Choose the intelligence method and output for the stage of the asset.

Explore a block

Aeromagnetic coverage and magnetic interpretation can help focus further geological investigation. An anomaly is evidence to investigate, not a confirmed deposit.

02

Plan with the terrain

Topographic surfaces and point clouds give the planning team a spatial reference for pits, dumps, access and surrounding terrain.

LiDAR & mapping
03

Understand the yard

Pile-level volumes and compatible measurement visits support an inventory review with its measurement basis visible.

Stockpile intelligence

For a useful first discussion

Bring the site context.

  • Site or lease boundary
  • Current stage of the operation
  • Existing spatial or geological information
  • Required coordinates, outputs and review date

Steel & raw materials

A yard that operations and finance can discuss together.

Iron ore, coal, coke, limestone, pellets and slag have different properties. A useful stockyard review keeps pile identity, geometry and material assumptions connected.

01

Review closing inventory

Define the piles and the reference base before capture. Review measured volumes with the density inputs used for estimated tonnage.

Stockpile measurement
02

Keep a comparable history

Repeat the measurement on an agreed basis so changes between visits can be interpreted. A date alone does not make two captures comparable.

03

Place the operation in context

Discuss environmental observations and asset inspection alongside the physical layout and operating activity.

Environmental intelligence

For a useful first discussion

Bring the site context.

  • Material types and pile identification
  • Yard layout and access constraints
  • Density information and its source
  • Inventory-review timing and report needs

Thermal power & energy

Understand the inventory that supports the operation.

Coal stockpiles, site infrastructure and environmental conditions call for different kinds of evidence. Define each question clearly before choosing the capture method.

01

Measure coal stock

Measure geometry, agree the measurement base and document the inputs used to estimate tonnage.

Stockpile intelligence
02

Review site conditions

Bring environmental observations into site context and distinguish measured information from modelled interpretation.

Environmental intelligence
03

Locate visible findings

Connect inspection imagery with the relevant structure and observation so the engineering team can review it.

Asset inspection

For a useful first discussion

Bring the site context.

  • Plant and stockyard location
  • Measurement or inspection scope
  • Access and operating restrictions
  • Reporting basis and review schedule

Infrastructure & utilities

See the asset. Keep the evidence in place.

Roads, corridors, structures and utility sites need spatial information that can be located and reviewed. A coherent site record helps teams move from a general view to a particular question.

01

Establish site context

Capture terrain and site features for an agreed mapping or engineering purpose.

LiDAR & mapping
02

Review asset condition

Organise visible observations with their location and supporting imagery. Engineering assessment remains part of the review.

Inspection & condition
03

Keep the information usable

Agree the coordinate system, formats and review workflow with the people receiving the data.

Bring the site context.

  • Asset or corridor boundary
  • What needs to be observed
  • Existing drawings or site records
  • Safety, permissions and output requirements

Environment & site operations

A reading becomes more useful in context.

Environmental and EHS teams need to understand observations alongside the physical site, the timing of activity and relevant conditions. The first task is to define the monitoring question.

01

Locate the observation

Plan sensor positions and keep location, time and measurement quality visible in the review.

Environmental intelligence
02

Examine a pattern

Compare observations with the site context. Modelled scenarios can help frame an investigation when their inputs and assumptions are clear.

03

Prepare a useful review

Bring evidence, open questions and agreed reporting needs together without presenting a hypothesis as a confirmed source.

  • The condition or event to investigate
  • Site layout and relevant activity
  • Existing sensors and available formats
  • Period of interest and reporting purpose

Regulated engagements

Some sites require a different conversation.

Government, defence and critical infrastructure programmes have specific procurement, permission and information-handling requirements.

Discuss the authorised scope and operating context with the team before sharing sensitive site material. Counter-UAS and related regulated activities require a project-specific assessment.
